We headed down to South Padre this past weekend and was looking forward to a nice beach camping, windsurfing getaway from all the craziness from work.

It went pretty well overall except that we had to cut the beach camping part short. There was so many mosquitoes eating us up (especially Jeremy) that we left the very next morning.

Thankfully we came across an article in body + soul, mentioning lavender oil and aloe mix has anti-inflammatory effect, and we had a bottle of Hummingbird Farms’ Aromatherapy Lavender Body Lotion No 145. The mosquito bites disappeared the next day! I will never leave without the amazing lotion again! I already love it for the lavender.

We also went and ate at our favorite restaurants. Breakfast at Yummies Coffee Shack . Gourmet dinner at De Luna Bayside Grill.

This time we also found a new place to have refreshing organic/healthy lunch at Naturally’s Veggie Cafe.
