We decided to purchase river/creek runner kayaks so we can do some lake and white water kayaking. This is our first day trying them out. Quite a learning experience. It was so much fun!

Wakeboarding for the first time…
It has been on my mind for a while that I want to try wakeboarding. For someone who can barely swim, I sure enjoy water sports. Windsurfing, stand up paddling (SUP), kayaking and sailing. I figured that wakeboarding will be kind of like snowboarding, can’t be that hard right? I totally forgot how long it took me to learn snowboarding… with the help of Jeremy and friends, I was able to learn to snowboard and do basic moves like the falling leaf in about a month.
The opportunity came when our friend invited us to a wakeboarding meetup event. It was the golden opportunity for me to try it our and see if I can get up on the first time out on the water. Needless to say, it was not an easy task to get up for me. The powerful pull from the boat and not knowing how to position my body property, I shied away after a handful of failed attempts and thought I should not let others wait all day for me to learn.
Jeremy was able to get up and stay up after just a couple of tries. I wish to edit the videos together to show the exciting afternoon we had with our new friends on the lake.
Our new friends put on an awesome show of riding the wake in costume. So much fun~
