One last RV remodeling…

Posted by JacQ

As we thought more and more about upgrading the RV to a Toy Hauler. There is one last thing we need to fix before the switch. The original kitchen sink faucet started leaking water on the top, so we needed to replace the faucet.

BÅGVIK - IKEA Single lever kitchen faucetI always thought the original faucet was too low and splashes too much water when I do the dishes, so we went to IKEA to look for a replacement.

The BÅGVIK – Single lever kitchen faucet, seems to fit the bill. It has an extendable spout that makes cleaning dishes easier.

Tonight, Jeremy finally had a chance to be the wonderful handyman that he is to replace the old with the new.

We were worried that the copper connection pipes that come with the faucet won’t fit the small RV piping… but as we found out, it fits perfect. So after 30 minutes of fitting everything together, Jeremy put in a brand new faucet that fits the space nicely and with the way it is aerated, there is virtually no splashing from the faucet, even though it is at least 3 inches higher than the old one.

Nice job baby!

RV Back Room Remodeling – Phase 1

Posted by JacQ

As soon as we arrived Phoenix, AZ, we started removing the back room bunk beds and the corner shelves so we can remodel the back room into the sports equipment storage space. We always thought a toy hauler will be great, but there is nothing wrong with the current rig. So we figured instead of spending $50,000 for a toy hauler, we should just spend about $2,000 to remodel the back room… This is Phase One of our remodeling~ Thanks to Danny, we were able to do it quickly!
