Jeremy shared this article with me today about a company’s biodiesel technology has made some great progress.

This give us great hope about the environment and our RV dream! This bio diesel is not only affordable to make, it is environmentally friendly and can easily be distributed through existing fuel infrastructure.

How Much Water Do You Use Each Day?

Posted by JacQ

I came across michelle kaufmann’s blog today and saw her entry about their 2007 water usage. Made me wonder how much water we use.

Her annual daily household water usage was averaging 86 gallons per day for 2007, while the typical household was using 355 gallons per day! That was awesome!

So I went and looked at our May water usage…

Davis' May 2008 water usage at home

I am pretty proud of ourselves! based on their report. Month of May was 30 days and that put us to 99.74 gallons per day for the month of May.

So I looked back further… in April we used about 72 gallons per day!

Between never watering our lawn and tree… carefully use water to hand wash dishes… I think we are doing really well in the water use footprint area~ :D

Now, we just need to figure out a way to cut back even more so when we live in the RV, it will be even better than when we are in the house. Especially our RV hot water heater’s capacity is only 6 gallons, compared to our house water heater that is 40 gallons.
