Alum Creek Mountain Bike Trail – Phase II

Posted by JacQ

On the way to Columbus, Ohio from Moab Utah, I found out that there is a Phase II Bike Trail in Alum Creek State Park. The photos on SingleTracks shows lots of bridges and stunt obstacles. So we were excited to try out our new biked there. More about our adventure of the new bikes later.

Boy, it is lots of fun! Thanks to Central Ohio Mountain Biking Organization (COMBO) who built this 6-mile of fast, fun trail loaded with bridges and obstacles for you to test out balancing skills. It is advised not to ride Phase I and Phase II when the weather calls for rain. Wait at least two to three days for the mud to dry up before you ride or you can ruin the trail and it would be a pain to ride anyways.

Christmas Gift that we did not want

Posted by JacQ

Hope everyone had a good holiday~ We however had an unfortunate event on Christmas Day.

We have been staying in Atlanta, GA on and off for the past month or so for work. We thought since there is hotel close to the client, we decided to store the RV at a storage place south of Atlanta.

Everything seemed to be fine. We thought as a large city, Atlanta might not be the safest place to store the RV, but our experience with people here to far has been very pleasant.

Yesterday, when we went to get the mountain bikes out of the RV to go on a bike ride, we found out that the scooter was stolen. Yes, my baby 2006 Piaggio Fly 150 was taken from me. And there were signs of the thief trying to force open the RV front door. But, fortunately, the lock was strong and they did not get in.

Our scooter was stolen the Christmas week of 2008
